Meet the Pastor of New Hope - Pastor Troy and First Lady Neff

Pastor Neff is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University. He has pastored Churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Pastor Neff served as the Nazarene Youth International President for the Louisiana District for three years. Pastor Neff served as Associate Pastor at New Hope before becoming Pastor n February of 2018.

Ms. Joyce was saved and committed her life to Christ when she was 12 years old. Shortly after, the Church pianist moved away. Joyce’s Dad went to her piano teacher and it was agreed she would learn at least 1 hymn each week after 2 months they had about 9 or 10 hymns to choose from. In her mid-twenties, she wrote several gospel songs 3 of them were recorded by Whitey Gleason and the Jubilee Quartet (a Nazarene group). Ms. Joyce has been active all her life in church work, including teaching 4 year olds up to young adults. She is now the Nursery director at New Hope.
